Last chance of the season to experience North Fork Designer Showcase

For the past few years the twelve-room manse of Cutchogue Presbyterian Church has been taken over by designers and converted into a showcase called the North Fork Designer Show House. This season the house was redecorated by a new roster of interior designers and the house’s neighbor to the west, Jessica Lee, has allowed them to use her large red 19th century barn, covered outdoor seating area, hoop house and primitive potting shed. Four designers who participated in both of the 2014 shows will be decorating these spaces along with several new designers. Romantic Lighthouse Tours in the Heart of Wine Country?

Nothing evokes the romance of the past like a lighthouse. Most people who have visited the North Fork of Long Island have seen pictures of the Long Beach Bar lighthouse, also known as the “Bug Light,” but are unaware that thanks to the East End Seaport Museum (the organization was instrumental in funding the rebuilding of the lighthouse after it was destroyed by arsonists in 1963), you can visit this lighthouse.
